Victoria is a Lawyer at Fomcenco Law.

At the firm, Victoria strives to provide successful solutions for her clients compassionately and knowledgeably. She has proficiently managed caseloads in diverse immigration and refugee matters, including refugee claims and appealed decisions, applications for judicial review, permanent resident applications under humanitarian and compassionate considerations, stay motions, and pre-removal risk assessments. She particularly enjoys challenging immigration decisions to the Refugee Appeal Division and applications for judicial review to the Federal Court.
Victoria earned her Juris Doctor in 2022 from Queen’s University Belfast. As a partial fulfillment of the Juris Doctor program, Victoria completed a doctoral thesis, where her research examined the impact of the recent beneficial ownership regulatory amendments under the Canadian AML regime to combat money laundering through shell companies in Canada. During law school, Victoria was actively involved within the institution’s School of Law community, where she held executive roles in the student-led Law Society and was an avid participant in mooting.
Before law school, Victoria completed a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Sociology at Ryerson University (now known as Toronto Metropolitan University).
In her spare time, Victoria enjoys dining at new restaurants and food venues, travelling, and spending time with her family, friends, and dog.
