Angelica Diaz is an Articling Student at Fomcenco Law.
Angelica has supported clients with all aspects of Canadian immigration law, including corporate and personal immigration matters. Prior to joining Fomcenco Law, she worked at an immigration law firm in downtown Toronto, where she assisted clients with Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) applications. Before that, Angelica gained valuable experience at a consulting firm focused on the Latin American market, where she guided clients through work permit applications, work permit exemptions, as well as visitor and study visas and extensions. She also managed permanent residency applications, including family class sponsorships, and applications under the Express Entry system, particularly under the Canadian Experience Class.
In Colombia, Angelica gained valuable experience in commercial, as well as in oil and mining law, working at multiple law firms in the country.
Angelica holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in Canadian Common Law from Osgood Hall Law School. She is licensed to practice as a Paralegal in Ontario and is also qualified to practice as a lawyer in Colombia; where she received her LL. B from one of the top universities in the country.
Angelica speaks English and Spanish. In her spare time, she enjoys playing tennis and hiking with her family.
